For the handful that weren't, it was clear that it was down to indifferent parenting. GRRR!

Maybe you'd just need to find the right school that would support you. The parents gave the kids space to explore, and the kids respected their parents enough to not abuse the space. There is no question about who is running things when everyone is moving with one heart and one mind.

Hey Johari,
Haha... we saw ALL your comments. I guess you can really identify with this topic! It's really cool that you have had a similar experience too. But I do wonder if the education system in Singapore is as flexible as the French. Home school with tests and exams done via email? No need for History and Geography because they are traveling and learning anyway? Hmmm....Danniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14798702726955491899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2470659737235305933.post-26163179996642705222009-11-14T10:34:11.918-05:002009-11-14T10:34:11.918-05:00Nice entry! When Cree was 3, he was thrilled with trains in India, camel treks and sleeping in the open desert in Rajasthan, exploring Fateh Pur Sikri, hanging in Goa, swimming in rivers with orangutan's in the trees overhead in Sumatra, and learning perfect Bahasa for "please do not pinch my cheeks!" It was an unforgettable year. I encourage it!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05349360675501635491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2470659737235305933.post-57852264353227054732009-11-14T03:09:23.145-05:002009-11-14T03:09:23.145-05:00Hi,Cool Pictures. It makes you wonder who is runnin...Hi,Cool Pictures. It makes you wonder who is running the family if the kids are better at getting their way than the adults are at saving the kids lives.forex coursehttp://www.learntotradethemarket.comnoreply@blogger.com
