The Maid of the Mist is a 20-min boat ride to the 2 falls that comprise the Niagara Falls. The Bridal Veil on the American side, and the Horseshoe Falls, which straddles both American and Canadian soil.
Given that we are brought pretty close to the water, all ticket-holders were given souvenir ponchos! (Hmm.... another Cho!)
We can't resist having a little fun with ours though. Some other tourists thought we were so funny, they volunteered to take pics for us. Ah well... people can be so easily amused!
